Seti Devi Basic School was opened on 3rd October 2008. Whilst travelling in Tibet in 2007. It was told of the tragic news of the death of Tim Kane. I’d come to know Tim well over the previous year and he’d shown a keen interest in helping the charity with 2 trips planned to Nepal. Tim was killed whilst out cycling by a passing motorist. The funding for the school was raised from the funeral fund. We were very fortunate to have a Simon Booth, a cousin of Tims, go out to Nepal to open the school.
