Antarastriya Yuba School was opened on 26th August 2008. This was the third school built by Bury based door hardware company UAP. For this school opening UAP employee Chris Pankhurst and his daughter Emma made the journey to Nepal. Despite not finding the terrain and the ascent to the school easy going, they stuck at it and reached it OK. Emma enjoyed the experience so much she is now planning to return to the village to do some teaching.
